Coin Force

What factors affect the force generated by a particular coin?
Terminal velocity is a major factor to consider- as that determines whether the coin can gain enough speed to pierce or damage the skull- to cause a killing blow.
The average terminal velocity for a bog standard penny is around 14.433 ft/s.
We can work a more exact answer out using a wind tunnel- upward facing works best. Using an air flow calculator we can work out how much air flow is keeping the coin suspended in the tunnel.
